I am currently a working mom who has the good fortune of being able to afford to have my husband stay at home with our children. This good fortune does come at a price, however. I have to give up A LOT of time with my family.

I long for a day when I can wake up and actually see my children off to school instead of quietly preparing for work and sneaking out of the house before they even wake up in the morning.  The dream of creating my own income source has been nagging at me for years and I’ve just now finally mustered up the courage to do something about it.

I’m not sure how I will ultimately find this financial independence, but I am certain that I can do it.  I’ve started reading a lot of books, ebooks, websites, etc. in my search for advice and guidance on my new journey.  I will use this blog to review the different methods that I try along the way.  Since I am searching for a way to generate income outside of my current “J-O-B” it should be said that from time to time there will be affiliate links within the pages of this blog.  If someone clicks on those affiliate links, I will receive a commission if a sale is ultimately made.  I just want to be up front and honest with everyone on that point.

For now, since I still need my current “J-O-B” to support my family, I have chosen not to include my real name on the pages of this blog.  Once I’ve conquered the world of self-employment I will happily include my personal information without fear of termination.  I hope that everyone can understand and respect this fact.

Thank you for joining me on this journey toward a new life.  I am confident that I will be able to navigate my way to a joyfully jobless life and I hope that I can help you do the same!!
